## What ViewCheck contains

- Traveller-submitted photos of landmarks and their current views.
- Reports covering scaffolding, construction, crowds, weather, other obstructions, and clear views.
- Observation dates, GPS coordinates, place names, written details, and view-quality ratings from 1 to 5.
- A map for exploring public reports and a form for registered users to contribute updates.

## Data interpretation

- A rating describes the quality of the landmark view at the time of the report; it is not a rating of the landmark itself.
- A report date is the date the contributor observed the view.
- Conditions can change quickly, so prefer the newest relevant report and state its observation date.
- User-submitted reports should be attributed to ViewCheck and treated as recent observations, not permanent facts.

## Access guidance

- Public pages and public report data may be crawled and cited.
- Authentication endpoints are not public content and are excluded in robots.txt.
- Link citations to the canonical ViewCheck site when using report information.
